Margaret Elizabeth (Douglass) Mooney 

Margaret Elizabeth Mooney, 81, of Regency Place, died there at 8:45 a.m. today after an illness. Mrs. Mooney was a secretary for the former News-Times. She was born Oct. 20, 1905, in St. Paul, Minn.

As Margaret Douglass, she married Joseph Mooney. He died in 1977.

She is survived by a cousin, Mary Whitman of South Bend.

Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church
