Lena H. DeVleeschower

Services for Lena H. DeVleeschower, 79, of 125 W. Marion St., who died Sunday in the LaPorte Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick Catholic Church of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., where the parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

She born Aug. 25, 1904, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

She is survived by two sisters, Florence Holt of Rolling Prairie and Genevieve Shea of LaPorte. Miss De Vleeschower was preceded in death by a brother, Charles J. DeVleeschower, former South fire chief.

She was active in high school alumni affairs.
