Anne (Christman) Waechter

Mrs. Anne Waechter, 64, of 216, N. Sunnyside Ave., died at 12:45 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital.

She was married Oct. 8, 1927 in South Bend to Herman F. Waechter, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Robert of Gary and John of Glenview, Ill; a daughter, Mrs. Don A. Good of Indianapolis, seven grandchildren, three brothers, Julius B. and Charles F. Christman, both of South Bend, and William L. Christman of Buchanan; three sisters, Mrs. Mathilde McKinney of Princeton, N. J., Miss Helen Christman of Beaumont, Tex., and Mrs. William Lee of South Bend.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Zion United Church of Christ, Rev. Donald I. Kaufman, officiating. Burial will be pastor, in Riverview Cemetery.

She was member of the Zion Church and past president of the Indiana-Kentucky State Conference of Church Women. She was also past president of Council of Church Women of South Bend, matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 2.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Church Scholarship Fund and the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
