Dorothy Helene (Hass) Jones

Dorothy H. Jones, 71, of 2820 Birchwood, Mishawaka, formerly of South Bend, died early today in her home after a short illness.

Mrs. Jones retired in 1966 from the U.S. Post Office Born on Dec. 22, 1903, in Chicago, she had lived here for 60 years, after coming from Stevens Point, Wis.

On July 17, 1937, in South Bend, she married Owen Jones, who died in 1965.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Janice Webber of Granger; four grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence and Carl A. Hass, both of South and Bend. and a sister, Mrs. Florence Givens of South Bend.

Services will 1 be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Welsheimer North Chapel, 52803 U.S. 31 N. Rev. Walter D. Oberholtzer. pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, of which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
