Jeanne L. Brown, 82, of 324 Miami Club Drive, died at 10:05 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend.
Born Dec. 10, 1904, in Russia, she lived in this area most of her life.
In 1926, in South Bend, as Jeanne Silberman, she married Max Brown, who died in November 1966. Surviving are a daughter, Reva Brown of New York City; two sons, Arthur of Portland, Ore., and Harold of Mountain View, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Shor of Chicago, and Sara Thomas of Florida; and a brother, Paul Gilbert of Chappaqua, N.Y.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Temple Beth-El. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trees for Israel or to the Mishawaka Public Library.
