Walter A. Hager Jr.

Walter A. Hager Jr., 118 N. Sunnyside Ave., died early today in his residence after several weeks illness.

He was secretary-treasurer of the Campbell Box & Tag Co., founded by his grandfather, the late Marvin Campbell.

He was born in South Bend on May 12, 1903, and was married here in 1939 to Marjorie Holmes, who survives. He leaves also a son, Walter Thomas; his mother, Mrs. Walter A Hager Sr., a sister, Mrs. Leo P. Rieder, and a brother, John M., all of South Bend.

Friends may call in the A. M. Russell funeral chapel after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Hager was a member of First Methodist Church, the Rotary Club and the Indiana Club. The funeral will be conducted in the funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday by Rev. Kenneth R. Hemphill, pastor of First Methodist Church.
