Josephine (Doran) Hammond

Services for Mrs. Josephine Doran Hammond, 79, of Little Rock, Ark., a South Bend native, will be Tuesday at Holy Souls Catholic Church in Little Rock. Mrs. Hammond died Friday morning in St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent's Hospital.

Mrs. Hammond was born on May 13, 1903, in South Bend, and worked for the former South Bend News Times and the Indianapolis Star.

Her husband, Harry A. Hammond, preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Rudolph of Vancouver, Wash., and Peter of Grand Junction, Colo.; seven grandchildren; a brother, James R. Doran of Camp Hill, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Wilson J. (Mary) Wetherbee of Elkhart.
