Nov. 6, 1873 – Dec. 19, 1940

ANN ARBOR, MICH. – DEC. 20 - Last rites will be Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the Orvis Funeral Home, South Bend, Ind., for Otto H. Hans, former Ann Arbor business man and popular alumnus of the University who passed away Thursday in Detroit. Burial will be made in South Bend Cemetery.

Mr. Hans was manager of the Michigan Daily, University publication, in his college days and was credited with making it one of the most successful of college papers.

After college, he became manager and editor of the Ann Arbor Times and later was a part owner and manager of the Ann Arbor Press, selling his interest in 1927.

Surviving  are  his wife, Clara Snyder Hans, a sister, Mrs. Lillie Fields, South Bend, and a brother, Walter, Birmingham.
