Kathleen Parrish Day, 64, of 532 S. 28th St., was found dead Wednesday night in her home of natural causes. Mrs. Day was born Nov. 16, 1920, in Chicago.
She lived in the area her lifetime. Surviving are a son, Phillip H. of St. Albans, W. Va.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Marjorie Sack and Helen Papen, both of South Bend.
Mrs. Day retired in 1982 as a chief operator at Indiana Bell Telephone Co., where she was employed 30 years. She was a volunteer at the medical library at St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hollis Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
