Daniel Hagopian

A man killed in a traffic accident Sept. 25 in Chicago has been identified as Daniel Hagopian, 66, of Chicago, formerly of South Bend. He died following a two-vehicle accident in Chicago. Health officers in Chicago were unable to locate Mr. Hagopian's survivors until this week. Details of the accident were unavailable. Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
He was a 1936 graduate of the former Central High School, a World War II Army veteran, and was retired from Zenith Corp. in Chicago.
He was born Sept. 22, 1918, in South Bend, and had lived in Chicago for the past 30 years, going there from South Bend.
He is survived by four sisters, including Rose Manuszak of South Bend, and two brothers, including Air Force retired Lt. Col. Jack Hagopian of Montgomery, Ala
