Jean A. (Wolf) Morningstar

SOUTH BEND Jean A. Morningstar, 75, of Hepler Street, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday in her home. Mrs. Morningstar retired in 1983 as a cashier from G.L. Perry Variety Store: She was born March 15, 1921, in South Bend.

On Oct. 23, 1943, in South Bend, as Jean A. Wolf, she married Lester G. Morningstar. He survives with a daughter, Kathryn Padgett of Mishawaka; four sons, Larry M. of Mishawaka, David J. of Rocky Mount, N.C., and James R. and Stephen P., both of South Bend; five grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Jagg of Mishawaka.

She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Cremation will take place, with burial in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road.
