Martha M. (Witham) Kelsey

Martha M. Kelsey, 60, of 52578 Shellbark, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after an unexpected illness. She was born on May 9, 1919, in Elkhart, and had lived in this area all her life.

On June 15, 1941, in South Bend, she married Harry R. Kelsey, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Judith Ann Parker of Ashland City, Tenn.; two sons, David Ray and Timothy Earl, both of South Bend; four grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mildred M. Herthoge of Dowagiac.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Reed, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Elite Clique Womens Club.
