Funeral services for Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Carter age 87, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday March 17, 2008 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Rev. Merlyn Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Carter died Friday March 14, 2008 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born on August 16, 1920 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of the late Albert and Edith Wadel. She was a member First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lamar Carter.

She is survived by many dear friends.

The family request any memorials be directed to the charity of the donors choice. Visitation will be Sunday March 16, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
