SOUTH BEND - Services for Ella M. Vaszary, 70, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of South Bend, who died Friday in University Memorial Hospital, Charlotte, were conducted Monday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Charlotte. Burial was in Charlotte (N.C.) Memorial Gardens. Wilson Funeral Service, Charlotte, N.C., was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Vaszary was the former co-owner of Mathers Bridge Resaurant, Merritt Island, Fla. She was born March 12, 1920, in Detroit.
Her husband, Steve Vaszary, survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Arlene Barnes of Merritt Island and Julie Brantley of Charlotte; and her mother, Julia Szabo of Melbourne, Fla.
She was a graduate of the former Central High School.
