Arabella Ruth (Teeter) Pataky

Arabella R. Pataky, 81, of Heather Drive, Butler, Pa., formerly of South Ind., passed away at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2002, in Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg, Pa. Arabella was born on September 22, 1920, in Hugoton, Kan., to Leo and Myrtle (Porter) Teeter, who both preceded her in death.

On July 1, 1939, in South Bend, as Arabella R. Teeter, she married Anton J. Pataky. Anton preceded her in death on November 22, 1978.

Arabella is survived by a daughter, Trudy (Richard) Vriendt of Butler; two grandsons, Daniel Vriendt and David Vriendt; a great granddaughter, Lisa Vriendt; a brother, James Teeter of South Bend; and three sisters, Eileen Spice of South Bend, Marjorie Pratt of Swansboro, N.C., and Mary Roys of Bossier City, La.

Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, Ind., where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2002. Rev. Kevin Buckley will officiate the services; with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
