Clara M. (Sparazynski) Gherardi

Oct. 17, 1919 - July 23, 1992

MISHAWAKA Clara M. Gherardi, 72, of Homewood Avenue, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the home of her son, at 19380 Cleveland o Road, after an illness. Mrs. Gherardi retired in 1991 from Visiting Nurse Association.

She was born Oct. 17, 1919, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1946, in South Bend, as Clara Sparazynski, she married George R. Gherardi Sr. He died in 1959.

She is survived by a son, George R. Jr., with whom she lived; three granddaughters; and brother, Edwin P. Sparazynski of South Bend.

A son, Gerry G., died in 1981.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.
