Marjorie J. (Shaw) Speyer

SOUTH BEND Marjorie J. Speyer, 72, of Clemson, S.C., formerly of South Bend, died 11:20 p.m. Sunday in Woodruff (S.C.) Health Care, after an illness. Speyer retired from Gay Hose Inc., Niles, as a secretary.

She was born June 27, 1920, in Rensselaer. On Nov. 16, 1946, in Kentland, Ind., she married Henry C. Speyer. He died March 21, 1982.

She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Figliola of Central, S.C.; one granddaughter; a sister, Patricia High of Haslett, Mich.; a brother, Richard Shaw of Valparaiso.

She was a former member of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Riverview Cemetery. Burial will follow. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 919 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Ind. 46617
