THREE RIVERS - Ann F. Gerring, 93, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday (May 27, 2012) at Three Rivers Health in Three Rivers, Michigan. She was born May 12, 1919, in Scotland, to Thomas & Mary (Scallon) McAdam.
On January 10, 1942, in South Bend, she married Marcus B. Gerring, who preceded her in death on July 31, 1967, in Elkhart. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mary Katherine Corban of Kansas City, Kansas, and Patricia Ann (Michael) Kramb of Vandalia, MI; 1 son, Thomas (Jimmy) Gerring of Constantine, MI; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son, Joseph Gerring; 1 grandson, Jeff; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Ann was a member of Three Rivers Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception and a member of the Daughters of Mary at the church. She liked to paint and was an avid reader. Ann was formerly employed at Bendix in South Bend and Three Rivers Hospital. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (June 1, 2012) at the funeral home. Pastor Fred Stayton from the Bristol United Methodist Church will preside, and burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.
