Helen Beth (Manuel) Studon

Helen B. Studon, 83 formerly of Fairway Street, South Bend resided at Miller's Merry Manor, passed away at 3:20pm on Nov. 7, 2002 in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN.

She was born in Ann Arbor, MI on May 6, 1919 to Arthur Sr. and Edna (Therrien) Manual, who preceded her in death. Also deceased are three brothers, Jack Manuel, Arthur Manuel Jr., and Richard Manuel.

Helen is survived by two daughters, Amy (Dan) Ferrell of South Bend, Susan McColge of Culver, IN and one son, John Studon of South Bend. Seven grandchildren: Jeremiah and Jacob Clark, Jesse and Jennifer Studon, Andy, Johnny and Brandi Ferrell. Three great-grandchildren; Katelyn and Hannah Clark and Tyler Studon, one sister, Hazel Newland of Mishawaka and several nieces and nephews.

Helen loved doing her crossword puzzle books and was an avid NASCAR fan. She retired as a nurse's aid from Carlyle Nursing Home.

Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00pm on Sunday, Nov. 10 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., South Bend, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Monday Nov. 11 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Memorial contributions in memory of Helen may be made to Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN.
