Fred H. Lewis

Fred H. Lewis, 67, Savannah, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, died Dec. 30, 1987, at the home. He was born in South Bend, Ind., and lived in this area for 24 years before he moved to Savannah in June 1987.
Mr. Lewis was An engineer for the Bendix Kansas City Division for 20 years and retired in 1983. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a Mason, and a member of St. John's United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Lewis, of the home; two sons, Tom Lewis, Savannah, and Fred Lewis, Plano, Texas; a brother, Carl Lewis, South Bend; three sisters, Mary Wiltrout, South Bend, Connie Viegert, Valparaiso, Ind., and Kay Strange, Chicago; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Mount Moriah Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel.
