Katherine Ann (Krueger) Mallory

Katherine Ann Mallory, 86, of South Bend passed away Saturday morning August 20, 2005 in Hospice House. Born July 9, 1919 in South Bend to the late Herbert Krueger and Bertha Otterstein. also preceding her in death were her daughter, Patricia Schulenborg and granddaughter, Jennifer.

On March 22, 1941 in South Bend she married Arthur W. "Duke" Mallory who died October 9, 1984.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Peggy Aldrich (Roger) of Howe, Indiana and Kathleen Oldenburg (Edward) of Indianapolis, Indiana. Grandchildren, Shanon and Sarah Oldenburg, Jessica Engber and John Aldrich, and great-grandchild, Ryder Aldrich Brown. A brother, Herbert Krueger (Virginia) of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Before having her family Mrs. Mallory worked for the Associates Corp. in South Bend for many years. Mrs. Mallory belonged to Saint Paul's Lutheran Chruch and belonged to the women's circle, helping hands, and the church Bible class. She was a graduate of South Bend Central High School and attended South Bend Business College.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church with pastor Gregory Fiechtner and Pastor Loren Van Oort officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family today from 5 to 8 p.m.

in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, and one hour prior to services Tuesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Hospice of St. Joseph County. The family wishes to thank Mrs.

Mallory's caregivers, Dorothy, Reda, Toni, Kathie and Mary and all the care team at Hospice House and Memorial Hospital on 11 South and her doctors
