Margaret A. (Kara) Callaway

Margaret A. Callaway, 55, of 2719 W. 6th, Mishawaka, formerly of South Bend, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Callaway was a former South Bend Lathe Works employee.

Born July 29, 1920 in South Bend, she lived in the South Bend-Mishawaka area her lifetime.

On Aug. 9, 1941 in South Bend, as Margaret Kara, she married Robert C. Callaway, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Anna Kara of Mishawaka; two sons, Kevin and Terry, both of Mishawaka; a daughter, Mrs. Tina Jurjevich of Honolulu, Hawaii and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home. Mrs. Callaway was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge 435
