Casmir Kaplon, aged 20, rural route No. 1, Granger, this county, died at 10 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph hospital.

His physician said the man's death was caused by a kidney infection which bore no relation to an automobile accident last Nov. 30. Mr. Kaplon was driving an automobile on state route No. 23 one-half mile east of Ironwood road when it left the pavement and overturned. He suffered a fracture of the skull, multiple cuts on the face and internal injuries. He had been released from the hospital apparently had recovered from the wreck injuries.

Mr. Kaplon was born in Gary, Ind., June 6, 1918, and resided most of his life in this community.

He was graduated last June from Central High school.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and. Mrs. Walter Kaplon; four sisters, Helen, Wanda, Jenny and Julia, and a brother, Edward, all at home.

Friends will be received in the Forest G. Hay chapel tonight. The funeral will take place at 8 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Granger, with Rev. Father Ryan, C. S. C., singing the requiem mass.
