Kathryn Ann (Kalamay) Schultz Silcox

ST. JOSEPH - Kathryn Ann Silcox, 84, of St. Joseph passed away on Feb. 26, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. Kathryn was born on May 22, 1920, in South Bend, Ind., to Joseph and Julia Kalamay. She married Lawrence "Fat" Schultz and they resided in St. Joseph.

In 1953, Fat preceded Kathryn in death. In 1970, Kathryn married Donald K. Silcox and they lived in Arizona until his death in 2001.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ and was active in the women's auxiliary guild.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Fat; second husband, Donald; and a daughter, Phyllis, in 1944.

Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
