HARRY M. HUMRICHOUSER. A heart attack caused the death of a former South Bend resident, Harry Miller Humrichouser, aged 29, in his residence in Dearborn, Mich., at 2 p m. Thursday. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Humrichouser, 1471 Longfellow avenue. He became ill while at work in the Ford Motor company plant and returned to his residence an hour before his death.

Mr. Humrichouser was born in Plymouth, Ind., Sept. 24. 1920. He was graduated from Central High school in 1938 and from Indiana university, Bloomington in 1948. He served with the army air force in World War II. He went to Dearborn last July as an efficiency expert in the auditing department of the Ford Motor company. He was a member of St. James' Episcopal church, No. 50 American Legion, South Bend lodge No. 235. Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, Phi Kappa Psi social fraternity and Delta Theta Phi law fraternity.

In March. 1941. he married Helen Bassler. daughter of Dr. and Mrs. C. R. Bassler. Surviving besides his widow and parents are two children. Nancy Jean and Susan; a sister, Mrs. William H. Leach, of South Bend, and his grandmother, Mrs. Ovid Miller, of Lafontaine, Ind.

Friends may call in the McGann funeral home until funeral services there at 10 a. m. Saturday. Rev. Don H. Copeland, rector of St. James' Episcopal church, will offlciate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Valley Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Fred Crowe. jr., Dennis Cudahey, Philip H. Eckert. Lloyd H. Morris, William H. Leach and Stephen Kompar.
