Frances A. (Helmick) Copeland

SOUTH BEND Frances A. Copeland. 72, of 1307 Byron Drive, died at 10:20 a.m. Friday in Lee Alan Bryant 'Health Care, Rockville, Ind. Mrs. Copeland had been employed at Robertson's Department Store. She was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Dowagiac and lived most of her life in the area.

On July 19, 1942, in South Bend. as Frances Helmick, she married Clifton Copeland. He survives with a son, Clifton E. of Lawrenceburg, Ind.: two grandchildren; and a sister, Thelma Copeland of South Bend.

She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Private services will be Monday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Osceola. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., is in charge of arrangements.
