Richard (Dick) Hardman

Richard (Dick) Hardman, 58, formerly of South Bend, died Monday morning in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., from an apparent heart attack. He was a warehouse of the Batesville Casket manager Co., Nashville. He was born on Oct. 19, 1919, in South Bend and moved to Nashville nine years. He married Lucille Somers.

She survives with two sons, Howard R. of Perrysburg. Ohio, and Bruce R. of Jacksonville, Fla.; a grandson, and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Hasley of South Bend.

Services will be a 10 a.m. Thursday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 2700 Lincoln Way W. Rev. Vincent C. Tillman, C.S.C., assistant pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home
