NORTH LIBERTY Clementine J. Romanowski, 73, of 29701 Inwood Road, died at 12:55 p.m. Sunday in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. Mrs. Romanowski retired in 1973 as a keypunch operator for Torrington She was born Nov. 29, 1919, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On April 27, 1946, in South Bend, as Clementine Gish, she married Theodore L. Romanowski. He survives with a brother, Frank Gish of South Bend. Two sons preceded her in death: James on April 17, 1977, and David on Oct. 22, 1978.

She was a member of Harvest House of Holy Family Catholic Church, South Bend, St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, South Bend, and St. Anthony's Club and Legion of Mary, both of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, where a combined rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by Legion of Mary and the parish.
