Robert E. Felden
May 18, 1918 – June 25, 2004
Robert E. Felden, 86, of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Friday morning, June 25, in his residence. Robert was born May 11, 1918, in South Bend, Ind., to Charlie and Ruth (Phelps) Felden. Robert was preceded by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Stilp; a son-in-law, John Kendall; and a grandson, Christopher Kendall.
Robert worked at the Farmers Market and at Bobbie’s Security. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
On May 16, 1970, Robert married Elizabeth J. Compton, who survives, along with one son, Christopher (Cindy) Arbogast of Gilbert, Ariz.; one stepson, Richard (Jimmie Lee) Davis of Indianapolis, Ind.; four stepdaughters, Judith (David) Creighton of Whitehorse, Canada, Susan Kendall of Mishawaka, Cheryl Davis of Osceola, Ind., and Patricia (Kenneth) Smith of Osceola; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Jack (Glenda) Morgan of Mishawaka.
Family and friends may call today, June 28, 2004, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will take place on Monday evening at 7 p.m., with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating.Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help defray medical costs. The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice of St. Joseph County for all of their help and support
