Thomas H. "Jack" Bright

Thomas Harry Bright, 63, of 1108 Cleveland Ave., died at 8:49 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital after a two-year illness. He was employed with Brinks for 20 years and was the president and owner of the Indiana Armored Service for 16 years. He was born on March 19, 1919, in Elkhart, and was a lifetime area resident.

On Dec. 24, 1941, in South Bend he married Eunice Whiteman, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Nancy Cronin of Edwardsburg, Mich., Mrs. Patricia Irven and Mrs. Judith Gimson, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Mary Thurston of St. Paul, Minn; two sons, Thomas R. and John D., both of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Frush of Elkhart.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.

He member of the Heritage Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, and was a World War II Army veteran.
