Helen Eloise (Wiseman) Brown Smith

SOUTH BEND - Services for Helen E. Brown Smith, 70, of 1614 N. Brookfield St., who died about 1:30 p.m. Monday at her home, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Cremation will take place with entombment in Highland Mausoleum. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Smith retired from the Bendix Corp. She was born Jan. 15, 1920, in North Liberty and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1955, she married Hap Brown, who died in 1969. In 1975, she married Everett Smith, who died in 1977.

She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Palmer of Elkhart; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, M.L. Wiseman of Santa Clara, Calif.

She was a member of Bendix Retirees Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Englewood, Fla
