Eleanor K. (Shaul) Lardon

Jan. 5, 1920 - June 13, 2001

Eleanor K. Lardon, 81, of Linden Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, June 13, in her residence. Mrs. Lardon was born Jan. 5, 1920, to Howard and Georgia (Heagy) Shaul in South Bend, Ind.

On Sept. 7, 1940, she married Robert Lardon in South Bend. He survives. She is also survived by her son, Mark Lardon of Mishawaka; her two daughters, Margaret McAllister and her husband, James of Mishawaka, and Sherry Aichele and her husband, Fred of South Bend; and by three grandchildren, Alex Trautman, Patrick Aichele and Keith Aichele.

Mrs. Lardon was a graduate of South Bend Central High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from Bethel University, graduating summa cum laude, and then earned her master's degree from IUSB in South Bend. She was employed by the Penn-HarrisMadison School System as a teacher for many years, teaching 4th grade at Elm Road School before retiring in 1977.

Memberships include the Concordia Club in Mishawaka and the First Church of Christ Scientist in Mishawaka.

A memorial service for Mrs. Lardon will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, in the mausoleum on the grounds of Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. The Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Donations may be made in her name to the First Church of Christ Scientist in Mishawaka
