Alice Lerene (Primrose) Juday

Alice L. Juday, 59, of 52265 Myrtle, died at 4 a.m. today at home after a lengthy illness.

She was formerly employed by the J.C. Penney Co. and the Clay Twp. Assessor's office. She was born on March 18, 1920 in South Bend and had lived all her life in the area.

On Oct. 7, 1939 in South Bend, she married Harold D. Juday, who survives along with three daughters, Mrs. Karole L. Swanson of Niles, Mrs. Karen L. Zoller of Lees Summitt, Mo. and Mrs. Kay Deppert of South Bend; a son, Kent D. of Clarkesville, Va.; seven grandchildren, and a brother, Robert Primrose Jr. of South Bend.

She was a member of the Community Congregational Church, the Ladies Community Club and the Clay Twp. Republican Club. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the Welsheimer North Chapel, 52803 U.S. 31 N., with L. Paul Harris, pastor of the Community Congregational Church, officiating. will be in Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home
