Phyllis Eleanor (Phelps) Rasmussen

Phyllis E. Rasmussen, 60, of 1908 Thornhill, died early today in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sally Lekens, 2121 Linden, Mishawaka. She had been ill for several months. She was born on Aug. 19, 1920, in South Bend, and lived here all her life.

On March 8, 1941, in South Bend, she married William R. Rasmussen Sr. He died on Oct. 17, 1973

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sally Lekens of Mishawaka and Mrs. Susan Wagsteff of Burlingame, Calif.; two sons, William R. Jr. of South Bend and Robert J. of Mishawaka; and five grandchildren.

The Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was a member of the Summit Club.
