Betty Jane (Kirby) Keltner

Betty J. Keltner, 92, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Born Feb. 15, 1920, at South Bend, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Byron and Elizabeth Kirby.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Jackie) Keltner of Shorewood, Wis.; daughters, Sandra (Dennis) Deuter of Jonesboro and Carolyn (Gordon) Lewis of Rensselaer, Ind.; brother, Richard (Adele) Kirby of Bellevue, Wash.; five grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Greg; and four sweet great-grandchildren, Christopher, Alyssa, Zachary and Mia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Keltner, in 1998; and an infant brother.

Services were held at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. She was laid to rest in Covington Memorial Gardens.
