NILES - A memorial service for Miriam J. Sherbino, 71, of Lansing, formerly of Niles, who died March 29, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church Chapel. Burial was in Silverbrook Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Pifer-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Parkinson's Disease Association, 9990 John R. SL, Detroit.

Mrs. Sherbino was employed at Bendix Corp, South Bend, Tyler Refrigeration Corp in Niles and Adams & Westlake Co. Elkhart.

She was born Jan. 16, 1918, in South Bend. She married Robert B. Sherbino, who died in July 1960. Surviving are two daughters, Veronica Sionakides of De Witt, Mich, and Barbara Sherbino of Holt, Mich.; a son, Robert of South Bend; a sister, Virginia Marks of Sarasota, Fla.; and grandchildren.

She was a member of the church in Niles and First Presbyterian Church, Mason, Mich
