Ruth E. Dodd, 81, of Hildreth Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Friday, Aug.22, in her home.

Ruth was born on Nov. 21, 1921, in Niles, Mich., as the daughter of the late Warren and Katherine (Hoover) Dodd. Ruth is survived by a sister, Genevieve Krueger of Traverse City, Mich.; her niece and nephews, Julie Killman of Traverse City, Doug Krueger of Portage, Mich., Ronald Krueger of Grand Blanc, Mich., and Warren Krueger of West Lafayette, Ind.; and by her great-nieces and nephews, Katherine Krueger of Lansing, Mich., Rachel and Tyler Killman of Traverse City, Clay Krueger of Stockbridge, Mich., and Phil Krueger of Ann Arbor, Mich.

Ruth retired from Indiana Dairy in South Bend where she worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Mishawaka. She was also a volunteer at the Parish Resource Center, Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug.25, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug.26, with visitation one hour prior to the services in First Presbyterian Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Ronald Miller officiating. Graveside service will be at Dailey Cemetery, Cassopolis, Mich., at 2 p.m. (Ind. time), 3 p.m. (Mich. time) on Tuesday, Aug.26.
