Jean E. (Stephens) Goodwin

May 26, 1920 - Oct 26, 1970

Jean E. Goodwin, 50, of 25588 Grant Rd., died at 6 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of eight months. She was an employee of the M. Skinner Co. for 25 years. Born May 26, 1920, in Lakeview,  Mich., she moved here in 1923| from Lakeview.

On Oct. 20, 1946, in South Bend she was married Carl H. Goodwin, who survives. Also surviving are four brothers, James and Gordon Stephens of South Bend, Esteron of Cincinnati and Donald of Ferdale, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Reva Pruett of South Bend and Mrs. Olive Lowell of Buchanan.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. David Hab, Crumstown Congregation of the New Apostolic Church, officiating Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
