Gertrude M. (Renz) Greening

Gertrude M. Greening, 65, of 50728 Indiana 23, Granger, died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. She was a seamstress at Dutron Corp., South Bend. She was born Dec. 21, 1920, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 21, 1941, as Gertrude Renz, she married Gerald R. Greening Sr. in South Bend. He died in 1971.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan M. Goodwill of Mishawaka; three sons, Gerald R. Jr. and Walter O., both of Granger, and Donald A. of Crown Point, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Bubb Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Greening was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, South Bend.
