Freddie Krauss Turnock

SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Freddie Krauss Turnock, 76, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 5, in Cardinal Healthcare. She was born in South Bend on March 5, 1921, to Hans and Eva (Mathews) Krauss, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, M. Gertrude Newman and Blanche Rae Krauss.

On Sept. 13, 1947, in South Bend, she married Robert L. Turnock, who survives. She is also survived by a son, Thomas L. of Laguna Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren, Todd L. Turnock of Evansville, Ind., and Kerri Matteran of Noblesville, Ind.; and by a brother, Richard F. Krauss of San Jose, Calif.

Mrs. Turnock was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
