Services for Marvin T. Hicks, 66, of 335 Kuntzman Court, who died at 2:54 a.m. Tuesday, will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Cremation will follow in Michiana Crematory. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral, home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church or St. Joseph County Cancer Society.

Mr. Hicks was a retired car salesman and a former employee of Basic Machines. He was born Sept. 12, 1919, in South' Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 11, 1963, in South Bend, he married M. Joyce Marks, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah Gyorgyi of Mishawaka; a son, James M. of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Judith Cantrell of Greenville, Mich.; a grandchild; five step grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Gibson of Mishawaka; and a half-sister, Anne Defebaugh of Elkhart.

He was a member of American Association of Retired Persons and American Legion Post 363, Lakeville, and an Army veteran of World War II.
