Elizabeth H. "Peggy" Williams, 80, of Fort Myers, Fla., died Saturday, Oct. 27, in Fort Myers.She was born to the late Andrew and Mary (Fodor) Hartman on Feb. 11, 1921, in South Bend, Ind. 

She retired from the Bendix Corporation after 33 years of service, and then moved to Fort Myers in 1978 with her husband, Clifford E., who passed away in 1994.

She is survived by her son, Patrick J. Williams and his wife, Loretta of Cape Coral, Fla.; a daughter, Paula Maples and her husband, James of Fort Myers; six grandchildren, Tamara, Kerry, Timothy, Barbara, Raymond and Daniel; nine great-grandchildren; and by many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, Inc., 435 Ironwood Drive, South Bend, and funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Portage Avenue, South Bend. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made in Peggy's name to Hope Hospice.
