In Memory
Marjorie Lucille (Castle) Nedderman
Mar 5, 1921 - Jan 7, 2002
MARJORIE LUCILLE CASTLE NEDDERMAN was born in South Bend, Indiana. Her mother Gladys Castle took her own life in December of 1942, her father Josephus Wilbur Castle also died at a young age in 1945. Marjorie lost both of her parents by age 25. She had only one sibling Winifred Jacqueline Castle Mello 1924-2003.
Howard and Marjorie Nedderman had four children, Richard 1943-2001, twins Charles (Butch) 1949-1994 and Rebecca, and Julie, only Rebecca and Julie are still living.
She was active in getting a Hospice established in Batavia.
Marjorie and my grandfather Howard enjoyed listening to classical music and had hundreds of shelved 78's. Grandmother also enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning. She enjoyed travel (world) with my grandfather Howard. My mother tells a funny story of how Grandmother Marjorie always used pin curls and the twins enjoyed pulling them out of her hair and getting the pins everywhere. They did this for years.
I have few personal memories of my grandmother due to distance and circumstances. I remember her visiting once as a child and I remember she came to my wedding along with my Aunt in 1981.
