Janet B (Barker) Quick

Janet B. Quick, 77, of Taylor Road died at 6:55 p.m. Friday, June 5, 1998, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
She was a former tour guide at Columbus Visitor's Center, a volunteer for the Red Cross at Camp Atterbury during World War II, a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was active in volunteer work at the church and in the community.
Memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Evelyn Brown and Janet C. Lowery officiating. The family will receive friends in the Laws Room at the church following the service. Inurnment will be at the First Presbyterian Church Columbarium.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, the Arthritis Foundation of Indiana or Four Seasons Employee Christmas Fund.
Arrangements were made by Myers Funeral Service, Hathaway-Myers Chapel.
Mrs. Quick was born Feb. 17, 1921, in South Bend, the daughter of Edwin and Mildred Mossey Barker. She married Lawrence A. Quick Jr., Dec. 4, 1942, in South Bend. He died Dec. 28, 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Scheuermann of Fishers; a son, Lawrence A. "Barney" Quick III of Columbus; and grandsons, Kurt Scheuermann of Muncie and Charles Scheuermann of Fishers.
