William H. Besse

Funeral services for William H. Besse, a Lake of the Pines resident and community leader for several years, were conducted yesterday at Schumacher's Colonial Chapel.
Mr. Besse, a native of South Bend, Ind., and a retired computer analyst for the U. S. Air Force, died August 3 in an Auburn hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, Ronald A. of Oklahoma; two daughters, Barbara Saulque of Carmichael and Carol F. Long of Sacramento; two sisters, Lola Jenkins of Toledo, O., and Eunice Ziebart of New York state; and two grandchildren.
The Rev. John A. Wright of St. Luke's Episcopal Church officiated at the services which were followed by burial in the New Auburn District Cemetery.
The family asks that donations in Mr. Besse's name be made to the American Heart Association.
