Jane H. (Wozniak) Miller

Jane H. Miller, 79, of Granger, Ind., passed away following a sudden heart attack on Sunday, June 24, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind. Jane was born Sept. 23,1921, in South Bend, the daughter of Harriet and Leo Wozniak.
She is survived by her husband, Victor F. Miller. They were married Sept. 29, 1946, in South Bend, and would have celebrated their 55th anniversary this year. She is also survived by three daughters, Judith A. (Antony) Attie of Grosse Pointe, Mich., Carolyn Sue (William) Thatcher of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Susan Miller of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Victor F. Miller Jr. of Port Orange, Fla., and Patrick: J. (Suzanne) Miller of Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren, Dr. Kal Attie of Petoskey, Mich., Sarah Jane Attie of Boston, Mass., David and Jane Thatcher, both of Salt Lake City, Melinda Kinney (Andrew) Poore of Portland, Maine, and Elisa Miller, Victor F. Miller Ill and Alexander Miller, all of Port Orange; two sisters, Louise (Joseph) Molnar and Delores (Louis) Zobrosky, both of South Bend; a brother, Thomas Wozniak of South Bend; and by two sisters-in-law, Hildred Widener and Carol (Jim) Braden, both of South Bend.
Jane was employed by the Studebaker Corporation during World War I| as an administrative assistant until her husband-to-be returned from the European theatre of operations. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, and was also a charter member of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 26, in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Valley Veterans Memorial Building Fund or to the Christian Children's Fund.
Jane and Victor, built a good life and wonderful family to which Jane dedicated herself, teaching them love and tolerance. She will be loved and missed by all
