Neulan "Knute" H. Tillotson

Neulan "Knute" H. Tillotson, 63, of 50519 County Road Five North, in Elkhart died Thursday, August 9 at St. Joseph Medical Center of South Bend after a brief illness. He had lived in the Elkhart area most of his life. Tillotson was born September 26, 1920, in Coloma. He was semi-retired as a bench and machine hand with Adams-Westlake Company of Elkhart.

Tillotson was a United States veteran of the Army, having served in World War II.

He married Edith F. Cleghorn Doczy on August 30, 1968, in Elkhart. He is survived by his wife; a son, Paul Tillotson of Elkhart; a step-son, William Doczy of Niles; daughter, Mrs. Ruth Albaugh of Elkhart; a step-daughter, Mrs. Karalie Brown of Wauseon, Ohio; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services were held August 13 at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Howarth of the Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church officiating. Tillotson was buried in Adamsville Cemetery.
