Ted J. Tarwacki

Ted J. Tarwacki, 64, of 2404 Bonds Ave., died at 6:04 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after a six-month illness.

He formerly was employed by the Rockwell Corp. and was serving as a maintenance worker at St. Joseph's High School. He was born on June 4, 1919, in South Bend, and lived here all of his life.

On Jan. 1, 1945, he married Margaret Fecteau. She died on Aug. 6.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leslie Lipowski of Glendale Heights, Ill.; a son, David Tarwacki of Edwardsourg; a stepdaughter, Miss Barbara Wright of South Bend; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Tarnacki of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Daryl Rybicki, chaplain at St. Joseph's High School, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
