Esther A. (Soleta) Waddick

Esther A. Waddick, 61, of 3627 St. John's Way, died early Monday. in her home after a brief illness. She was a registered nurse employed most recently with Dr. K.T. Knode. Mrs. Waddick was a graduate of Holy Cross School of Nursing.

She was born April 3, 1921, in South Bend and was a lifetime resident.

On Dec. 27, 1948, in South Bend, as Esther Soleta, she married Robert Waddick, who survives, along with two daughters, Mrs. Rosanne Kasznia of Mishawaka and Miss Mary Beth Waddick at home; a son, Robert Jr. at home; three grandchildren; and her mother, Mrs. Rose Soleta of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Joseph Jacobs will officiate. Entombment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Mrs. Waddick was a member of Rosary and Altar Society of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Ladies of Notre Dame
