Richard E. Remble

Richard E. Remble, 76, of South Bend, died at 7:57 p.m. Friday in Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, following an illness.
Mr. Remble retired as a driver for Manufacturing Technology, Inc., in 1991. He had previously been employed at A.M. General and Studebaker corporations.
Mr. Remble was born Jan. 24, 1921, in South Bend to Frank and Genevieve (Borowski) Remble, who preceded him in death, along with a brother, James Remble.
On Jan. 3, 1942, in South Bend, he married Rosemary Molnar who survives along with two daughters, Susan K. Remble of Indianapolis and Nancy L. Wroblewski of South Bend; three sons, James R. Remble of South Bend, Larry S. Remble of Missouri City, Texas, and Thomas A. Remble of Lenoir City, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Mindy Karczewski, Jill Remble, Matt Remble, Amy Ferem, Tom Remble, Ted Remble, Allison Koch, Ryan Wroblewski, Jenni Wroblewski and Jason Wroblewski; and one great-grandson, Kenneth J. Karczewski.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Rev. Camillo Tirabassi officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where a rosary will be said at 3:30 Mr. Remble attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
